| Why
is it important to come here? |
|
We create a caring and homely environment in which to be. Where
people feel their whole self is welcome and they are cared for and
nurtured. A place where people can take time away from their busy
lives to reflect and find inspiration from the tranquility of the
house and the breathtaking scenery around us. It is a place to find
healing.
Boswedden House is a beautiful Georgian
house set in 1.5 acres (.6 Ha) of garden. The rooms are large with
plenty of natural light. All the bedrooms are en suite and
have central heating. In chilly weather we light an open fire in the
lounge.
The house is warm, comfortable and friendly.
Nigel and Thelma have created a nurturing environment in which people
feel supported in taking time out for self-exploration and healing
and in finding rest and inspiration.
The unspoilt, rugged Cornish countryside
is wild & elemental. Experiencing it helps us to strengthen
our connection with the earth and with our spirituality. The luminosity
of the constantly changing sea/skyscape is inspirational.
We support people whatever their spiritual
path and hope that you will find something in our varied programme
that will excite and renew you.

| The
vista that surrounds us... |
|
The house is 10 minutes walk
from the sea at Priest's Cove and looks out over fields and National
Trust land to the sea. The South West Coast Path and mile upon mile
of stunning scenery is even nearer. In spring the hedges and pastures
are filled with wild flowers. St. Just, the most westerley town
in mainland Britain, is just under a mile to our east.
Leisure Facilities
At the hotel: Our own indoor heated swimming
pool (March-October) is well suited for children and adults
alike. Cape Cornwall golf course is a two minute walk away and
horseback riding, fishing, diving and, of course, sea bathing
and surfing are all nearby.
This area has
the largest concentration of ancient sites in the British Isles.
The nearby former Geevor tin mine captures the 4000 year history
of mining in this district. The South West Coast Path is readily
accessible for spectacular walks - long or short. |
